- Ashok Patel, MD Dr. Patel has been serving in the Southern Colorado area since 1988. He is a board certified allergist and immunologist who trained at the National Jewish Medical and Research Center in Denver. With his wife, Smita, and his two sons, Neil and Jay, he enjoys hiking, skiing, and sightseeing. Even though he immigrated to the USA from India more than 20 years ago, he has not lost his Indian accent, so please pay attention while he is talking in his Indian English. He is a practicing Hindu.
